This is a fun and engaging activity to get students’ creative juices flowing. It would be great for the first week of school or an activity to use with a substitute. In partners, students pick two everyday objects to draw in the top boxes. Then, they combine the two objects to make a new invention. For example, a balloon and backpack could combine to make a jetpack.
