My students LOVE mystery pictures. As their teacher, I LOVE that they are practicing place value AND having fun. This rainbow is so fun for St. Patrick’s Day or really any time you need to brighten a day. I use mystery pictures most often in math centers, but they could also be used with the whole group or small groups.
